Default Which fuel

Hello to you all if i was to buy a 96 to 98 subaru do they need to be run on optimax or any of the other higher octane fuels.
Or are they safe to use on normal unleaded ???

If your buying a UK spec it will be fine on all UK fuels.

If it's an import you will need to run it on Super Unleaded + Octane Booster.
Your best bet would be to get it re-mapped for UK fuel.

Hi thanks for the reply im in northants who in that area could do the re mapping for me .

TSL in Keywoth, near Nottingham.

Was in there yesterday, and they had a mapper in doing someone's car. Overheard them say it takes about 3 hours.
