Overboosting

As per title, how do i cure the proverbial brick wall effect on MY97 Uk?

From: East Sussex/Kent Border

Eventually sorted problem on MY97Sti by installing Blitz boost controller set at 1.2bar and rollong road tuned by Power Engineering. Up until then every fix in the book failed!
