Default Not happy.....

Picked up my scoob and have given it a little blast.....

Thing is i'm running 1.2 bar (the Defi's peak is saying 1.3 bar) with a VF34 turbo, 650cc injectors, 255l fuel pump, hks super flow induction kit, hks full exhaust and de-cat but I think the gems has had a safe map.....

Doesn't feel like the 300whp though....

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

any suggetions? or just the map that's the problem.....

it wouldnt be anywhere near 300 at the wheels with that set up.....mainly due to the turbo only running 1.2bar....i thought even a PPP on a newage (with the same turbo) ran 1.4bar?

300 at the fly on the other hand would be about right?

Strange because I know the previous owner had it up to 350bhp as it ran over 300 on the rolling road?I thought a ppp was a chip, exhaust and a stutter......pppppppppppppppp

350 on a rolling road would still only equate to about 265 at the wheels.....

it depends what boost your mates was running, the PPP is a remap now....not a chip.

Just sounds like your gems is, as you said, running a very safe map...

On all my runs it's been over 30%

Last one was 192whp and 311hp at fly - and I've seen even higher loses than that!

30 is shocking , although that could just be down to the way the fly figure is calculated anyway....its all too easy to inflate a flywheel figure, BHP @ the wheels is a much more even measure...
