I had it remaped about 1 month ago maybe less.

Any ideas.

Give em a ring and voice your concerns mate. Knowlsey and the gang are a great bunch, they'll soon get it sorted.

sounds a bit high for a TD04.....i wouldnt have thought that that much variation is good though? only holding 1.0bar seems low though? as PPP boost is 1.1bar.....

have you had it RR'd yet? if so what boost did it hold on the rollers? or was it all over the place?

All it is is oil stting on the valves and when i blip the throttle it opens it.
It clears once i stsrt driving so all is ok.

Have you got a knocklink mate? If not, I'd get one ASAP. It will help you see any problems before they do any damage. It's important to keep an eye on things in a modd'd car!

Subaru UK may not be able to see the map, but a drive would make it obvious and the exhaust would be a dead giveaway!!

After my car had a full decat and remap it also seemed to produce a lot of white-ish smoke at times. And the exhaust fumes really stunk all the time- really bad smell when reversing or stood in traffic. Since fitted a power Engineering Sports centre cat and smoke and smell have gone (it also just scrapes through mot emissions!).

White/grey smoke = oil.
Black smoke = rich mixture.

There should be no smoke so either will need looking into.

Cheers. Mark.
