Default NGK PFR6B or PFR7B for a standard UK scoob

Anyone - Should I be worried about pre-ignition with the 6's and go for the 7's? I am confused!!!!!

Im no expert, but having problems with a standard car using standard rated plugs suggests the problem lies elsewhere??

Well to be worried about pre-ignition on a standard car suggests he has a problem??? As you say 6's are fine.
