it needs to be about 50mm
and a socket set wont do it because the is a 17mm bolt inside that one which i need to gain access to at the same time.

hanly and becks had a closed ring spanner but they wanted £120 for it
i dont want to pay that to tighten 4 bolts

I did an engine rebuid not so long ago and just used a socket and a torque wrench (think was a 25mm socket).

Be careful locking them whilst tightening them if they are the plastic ones. I believe there is a special tool, I got a mate to hold each one whilst I tightened them up.

Mine was turbo engine in 95 WRX, cant see how yours will be different?

What about putting an old cambelt on, and then tightening them,...??? then put a new belt on....

If you don't have the cam covers on yet, there are 'flats' on the shaft for a spanner....
