Default WHAT DUMP VALVE IS LOUDEST?

I have just purchased the new Bailey DV Venturi Dump Valve which is supposed to be louder than the original DV model.

Since then iv been sold they are not actually very loud and i would be better with a Forge one.

Iv not opened it so am hoping i can take it back if this is true but wanted some opinions first

Bailey or Forge?

Another theory was get the HKS SSQ BOV which is meant to be very loud?

opinions please!

the original is a recir type so it is very quiet. The hks is quite loud, Ive just removed mine though to go back to a standard recirc type. Cant remember but think it is either Apexi or Blitz do one that you can actually adjust the sound on it.

i had a blitz on one of my skylines which you could adjust the noise!!

the bailey one cost me about £155 all in which is a bit more than the forge but iv just been told that it should be louder!!

Ive got one from TSL. Its very very loud! Louder than any other I have heard.

I used to have 2x HKS SQV's on my 300zx but they use diaphram rather than piston so may not be as reliable as a piston type?

Bailey are more reliable than diaphrams, purely because the rubber dries out and breaks - no diaphram in the bailey. I have a bailey on my car,was quite disappointed actually, not loud at all.

Started off with a Forge one which I thought was really quiet. Changed to HKS SSQV which was very loud and had a bit of chatter when not on boost which was fun................for a while. Eventually changed to a Turbo XS Supersonic or Megasonic (had two trumpets). If you want loud these are just that.

It has to be the Megasonic Turbosmart dump valve from Australia.

Just fitted an HKS SSQV with purple insert yesterday... thats loud IMHO Can't imagine having louder?! The chatter, chrips & induction note are awsome BTW The induction kit gives it a jet sound.. with the decat the turbo spool is VERY addictive

i got a Blitz horn DV on my scooby whihc is loud,

i also got 2 SSQV HKS dump valves on my 300ZX TT (which i setted to really loud they sound sweet - its a little velve on top of the dump valve)

i really like to sound of the forge dumpvalve my mate had on his STi 7 different sound onlower pitch low pressure (low rev gear change) and high pitch on high pressure (floor it then change) sounded really sweet.

all of them make a different noise, but i love the forge one and HKS. Blitz one you just scare old lady with its sound. pull up next to the then let go of the gas i know its not nice but fun.
