Default Starter switch

Hi Guys

i recently had my car and home broken into see thread

http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=470271

It has been a very trying time for me as you can see. The damage to the car interior is pretty severe, the ignition barrel and wiring has being simply pulled off, Fortunately the imobiliser and additional electrickery stopped the car being driven away, but due to the damage and ease in how it is done, has made me start thinking of going down the starter button route, however have no idea what is needed what wires are what etc ect, any help at all would be so gratfully be welcome at this time

Thanks for your time

Mick.
