Default new to scooby turbo's

hey all,

i'm well out of my depth with all your talk of turbo's. i'm assuming that the numbers you give (e.g. td05-18g) are model numbers?

what size are the turbo's and why dont they go by names such as t34, t4 etc??
what turbo am i likely to have on a '95 uk spec wrx?

is there somewhere on here i can read about scooby turbos till my head is full of data?

cheers

L.

The UK 95 car will have a td05 90 degree entry.
Later UK cars use a front entry smaller td04. Not sure what the 18g means.
