Default Decat downpipe - lagging turbo & downpipe

I have just fitted a TSL decat downpipe which I lagged before fitting and none of the original heatshields have been refitted - they won't refit.

A friend recently did his as well but found on a trip to France that the brake/clutch fluid in the reservoir boiled because of the rising heat from the downpipe &/or turbo. He therefore insulated the brake/clutch reservoir.

Question - should the turbo be lagged ?. I have obtained a turbo lagging kit which will cure the prioblem but have read posts that the turbo will then run hotter and one some models of IHI turbo mightlead to the trubo casing cracking.

Should refit the heatshields, though you do have to cut them to fit back on
