Default Anyone had their car superchipped?

I am thinking about getting my my93 import superchipped. This will release an extra 30bhp for approx £511.

I have enquired about this and it involves fitting a bleed valve along with some electronics that fool the ecu into adding more fuel etc, sounds similar to some of the apexi//hks controllers but without the ability to change parameters.

Just wondering if anyone has had the superchips fitted to their car, and what the performance was like and any problems etc.

cheers for any replies

I'd be interested in replies. From what you say, it sound like a £30 bleed valve, and 50p resistor added to the temp sensor. Must be more to it than that though...

Edited to say:

If it is a "superchip" then dont bother as they are a rip off. Save your money for a custom map from somewhere like scoobyclinic. 500 notes is a lot for a bleed valve and resistor!
