Default my2001 WRX exhaust --my99 uk turbo

As title suggests, can anybody tell me if a WR Sport back box from a MY2001 WRX car will fit straight onto a MY99 uk turbo car, i am in need of that burble and think that this may just fit the bill.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thought i may have had a couple of replies on this one as surely someone has done it before, but nevermind, phoned local Scoob dealer who reckons it will go onto car no probs other than the front support bar may be on the wrong side but he reckons it won't matter as both rear supports will fit fine.

I fitted an HKS exhaust made for a new shape impreza to a my00 classic shape, but it took quite a lot of modification as the hangers to the backbox are on the wrong side, there are some other differences but can't remeber what they were. I took mine to a local s/s exhaust specialist who mooded and fitted it for about £40.
