Nearly stalling after long runs

Nearly stalling after long runs
As the title say's after a short 40mile trip to work the car nearly stalls and the revs are all over the place ,is this due to a knackered maf it's really bugging me trying to heel and toe all the time to keep it going any answers please.

hi does your car try and stall when you put the clutch in when coming to a stop?
