car just went pop on dump valve at 100 mph+cut out,it wont idle or rev past 3k and is poring out black smoke!its a 99 wrx type ra witha ecutek+bvlitz+k+n
anyone tell me what is wrong?

this happened to a car i had ,though not a scooby, blown head gasket. one minute im flying down the road, the next theres a big cloud of smoke behind me, just a thought m8, but im sure someone on here will clear it up.

thanks guys,boost hose is still on+no water usage+temp is normal,its missing when running +foot on the floor its missing badly+wont rev at all past 3k +pouring out thick black smoke

If the smoke smells of petrol then check all the hoses, I had the same problem on mine during mapping and it turned out to be the hose off the intercooler.

take ya oil cap off and see if theres smoke chugging out of it, if so you have probably fooked a piston !!!

all pipes are on i/c+no back pressure at oil cap,ecu maybe?
