Default Can you re-map a piggy back PPP?

Hey guys - i have an MY01 WRX with the early piggyback ECU's...

Am going to get an full decat - can you re-map the PPP (ie tweak it like you would normaly) or is it "locked"...?

I'm no expert but I believe it is locked.

If you do further upgrades (full de-cat, FMIC, etc) you need to get a new ECU + map.

There are quite a few available:

Ecutek
GEMS
TEK 3
Apexi
Link
etc.

Why not remove the piggyback and then ECUTEK ?

My understanding was that the ECU went back to Prodrive... so not sure!

Yep this is no problem at all.

All that has to be done is.Unsolder the board and this will turn the ECU back to pre PPP and then Ecutek.

I had this done on my UK300.
Now have a Autronic way way better.
