For about the last 4 weeks my scooby (UK Impreza turbo '95) has on occasion failed to start.

The starter ticks over fine but it wont fire into life. If I push it down the road and bump start in first it wont fire up but when I turn the key after the bump it fires up straight away. it runs abit lumpy for about 2 minutes then away we go.

It seems to have happened since I had a new clutch fitted. I have had the battery checked and that is sweet. Put new NGK plugs in and they are fine. Also had a new fuel pump fitted about 10,000 miles ago.

What I dont get is that it doesnt happen all the time.

Yesterday morning it wouldnt start then today no worries.

Any ideas guys?
