Engine Breathing?
Been doing a bit of cleaning in the engine bay, everything is covered in 10 years of dust and on a white car it looks a bit scabby
Took the intercooler out to get into the bulkhead area and to my amassment there was not the slightest bit of oil residue in the intercooler or any of the pipe work had expected to find everything coated in oil.
My mates car has just had a new engine ( done 2000 miles now) put in it and every pipe was cleaned prior to it going back together and already he has oil in most of the turbo pipe work etc?
My car is a 95 Sti Ra with about 67k miles, would this tend to suggest that the engine was in good shape and isn't breathing heavily or is it due to the different design of the manifold / breather pipe work etc?
