Default Boost control

My boost control solenoid was playing up so I cleaned it out as well as the pipes and it was ok for a while, but its started to judder again. I've got a GReddy Profec B on my 5 GT Turbo which it doesnt really need as i've got a manual one, so what I want to know is can I get rid of the standard solenoid and run the GReddy in its place? If so what boost does the '99 UK turbo run as standard and whats the most I can run on 98 octane fuel with the standard ECU map and before the boost limiter kicks in? Thanks, Shane.

if you have a manual boost controller you will be bypassing the boost solonoid anyway

MY99 runs 0.9 bar as standard, be carefull not to up the boost to much if your car is not mapped for it

The manual controller isnt on my scooby its on my other car, just wondering if I could take off the standard solenoid on the Impreza and put my GReddy one in its place using the existing pipework?
