Speedo and ecu questions..
Firstly i dont pick up my 1995 import wrx until wednesday so im assuming the speedo drive is mechanical driven by a cable? Its just i picked up a uk 1999 speedo and its electronic which is typical.Am i right in assuming its the 97> speedos are electron fed?Its just as mine only goes to something like 120mph on the clock i wanted to swap it for "proper mph clocks" so im guessing i need pre 96 uk clocks to enable me top directly swap them?
Whilst i was getting the speedo i also bought the ecu which i know wont fit mine (its a y7) which is also out the uk 1999 car.I thought cos it stil had it in and they only wanted £40 for it it was a bargain which i couldnt refuse!Any idea what the real s/h value would be?

Jap ones are cable driven, uk ones electronic..
you can get a converter to make it read in MPH rather than KM..
ECU is worth more than £40 but not sure on price, try searching for sale section.

Thanks mate.
So theres no way of sticking 160mph clocks in my import then without lots of aggro? Its already got a conversion sticker thing over the kmh speedo to mph only to 120 mph or so though) but obviousy the mileometer is still in kmh.
