Hi

Have got heads off, and the gaskets (metal ones), are both showing rust & crud, a few valves are showing rust as well (!), though there is plenty of valve head left so I think I'll re-grind them).. (I knew head gaskets had gone).

Anyway :

1) Do I have to get new head bolts ? or can I re-use the originals ?

2) I am going to use the gaskets I got as part of a set on ebay (60 quid for all gaskets). I guess they should be ok ? Any advice otherwise?

3) I have a product called "Gas Tight" which is a kind of gasket sealant (for use on head gaskets). Anyone use anything like this? recommend it ? otherwise ?
