i have recently purchased a 1993 wrx import, recently the cel has been coming on when engine reaches temperature, i have caried out the diagnostic check and it is the knock sensor. my question is can i remove the sensor from the block and reset my ecu and then do another diagnostic check, so i can tell if it is the sensor or if there is a problem with the engine. thanks
