Rolling road results on MY00
Had my MY00 with performance filter, Magnex downpipe and STi backbox Tekked recently.
With Tek 1 was only reading 191 bhp and when remapped gave figures of 251hp and torgue of 262. Car definately drives better and I am happy with the result.
However given the above mods in theory I would have thought the numbers would have been higher. Are some scoobys more equal than others???
I would be interested in what people with mapping expertise have to say.

No thats not too bad, your biggest problem now will be if you take it onto another rolling road and get different results (for better or worse), its only really an indication of how much power your car is putting out, what you want to look at is the power at the wheels figures.

Just had my UK MY99 Turbo(wagon) put back to standard. It had a Tek3 remap, VF30 turbo, full decat on it.
I can say honestly it feels the same now as it did with the mods. It is less harsh now and smoother through the revs but it is certainly not much slower if at all.
I was told when I had it that it seemed a quick car for a standard one(by my mechanic, ex Subaru).
They do have different ECU's on them (AE800, AE801) the AE801 is meant to give the most bhp, but I had an AE800 on before and I now have an AE801 on it and it feels about the same.
191 bhp for your car seems a little low, maybe the RR wasn't working right or something.
