Default Prodrive Decat Pipe (Centre Piece)

I'll be fitting this in the next week or so and wondered if you guys had any advice, in particular it has a threaded insert into the main pipe - is there something that'll be fitted to my existing cat that'll plug this hole? Any other tips greatly welcomed.

Kevin

Do you mean this one in the middle?

If so then I had one in my PPP to replace this one.

As you can see, both have threaded holes for the same sensor.

Thanks Mark, trouble is now I've gone an ordered a Ninja backbox and centre pipe - well I say trouble because I need to think of a plausable excuse when the missus asks if the car is sounding a touch louder than normal

It should be any easy job to do IF...

a; The downpipe sometimes has studs connecting to the centre pipe (cat) and these can be a real PITA if siezed. You can end up having to cut the nut off, luckily it is threaded into the centre (cat) pipe not the downpipe..!

b; The lamba (sp?) sensor can also be difficult to unscrew especially without the right tools..! Either way don't over tighten it when putting it back into decat pipe..!

Penetrating fluid (Freeway) can help, however be carefull not to contaminated Lamba (sp?) sensor..!
