HELP: Engine Number Identification - is there a site with a listing?
I am looking at a motor that is supposedly out of a legacy s401. but I would like to verify before going ahead with the purchase The inlet manifold and turbos are not on it.
The engine number is EJ208DWEBE - 1046866
Can anybody help or point me in the right direction

I discovered this morning that Subaru UK now has a global parts locator.
They sourced some bits for my Jap import today from the chassis number, so they'll almost certainly have the engine numbers listed, too.
0121 522 2000 for customer services.
