tmic upgrade advice

Question tmic upgrade advice

thinking of upgrading my top mount ic from my95 wrxra.will versions 7/8 fit mine ok or perhaps slightly older one from an sti my99 for example.are they easy enough to fit etc.how much for second hand unit?have seen a couple on ebay!!!!any help/advice welcome.

been told by clive at rc it aint worth it
keep your money in your pocket and if you are going to uprate it get a front mounted one

thanks for advice craig.do you know if a type r ecu will fit straight in to my my95 ra and would i benefit or gain much more from it? i know that the type r is pretty rapid!!!

i dont know the answer to that one bud ide put another post up if i where you

but if your on a hunt for more power then i would recomend fitting a decat pipe
magnex do one for £180

i found that to be one of the best mods ive done to my car
and ive got
uprated fuel pump
apexi ecu with a boost kit
decat
air filter
and a front mounted intercooler

thanks craig.already have full roger clark 3in decat open with green panel filter etc...just looking at changing ecu now for that bit extra!

Fit an Apexi FC mapped by someone good.
The TMIC from the Sti v8 is NOT a bolt on/in job i assure you, but it looks stock and is Insurance friendly too.
There are lots of things to do first, but the intercooler thing will get you soon!

FMIC look cool and have their own issues.

thanks for advice guys will look into the apexi fc map.gonna ditch tmic idea for now!
