Default How to lower boost pressure

I would like to know how to lower my boost pressure as I'm currently hitting 18PSI and suffering fuel cut.

My car is a standard UK MY98 and believe the boost pressure should be 12.3-13PSI

Thanks

The question should be what is causing your boost to be higher than it should. Maybe dirty boost solenoid valve, sticky actuator, unsecured/loose pipework etc...

The reason the boost is so high is because my local Subaru dealer set it so, the car went in with a Heatshield problem and came out running a max of 18PSI.

Then they have left a pipe off or dislodged something! Take it back and tell them to fix it.
