baiscally all you need to do is, take it very easy with the car for an hour after the oil change and it should be okay.

If your referring to doing your oil change ? Then disconnect the crank sensor fill up the oil filter and turn engine over until oil lights out.
Theres loads of threads on this just do a search.

I am coming round to the opinion that cold cranking is not good for the engine. The oil light on mine (03WRX) does not go out when cold cranking. This is worrying when the oil pressure sensor triggers at 2.1PSI (very, very low). The forces involved in turning the engine over at such a low speed are also higher than spinning the engine at idle RPM.

Any other opinions before the next oil change?
