I have found this on tree bay? chip
I have read a lot about these on here and have checked out my own ecu and it is slightly different as it is a SB unit (Z1), i have looked inside and it doesent appear to have a space for an extra chip to fit unless it is already taken up with an upgraded one? but the car is fresh out of japan so it wont be running a 97 RON map anyway.

I've got an apexi ecu for sale with the datalogit software so you just connect it to a computer and alter your values to suit the cars needs (obviously not that simple to do or we would all be mappers, but that simple to alter), its the one I took of my road rally car, Andy F set mine up on 95ron fuel so I could use optimax for the first half and whatever availble on second half althogh I still used boost in the lanes.

The chip in your pic that starts F52 is the upgraded chip, it also looks like J1 was never fitted, so perhaps the chip was done at the factory?
It should be able to be remapped, a call to Scoobyclinic will confirm.

Im sure thats the same ecu, that ive got in my car..
ive an my93wrx, with a 94 RA engine in it .... replaced because the big end bearings failed on the original.
I went to see a local motorsports garage, and they told me, my original ecu, was faulty, and offered me one like that in the picture. they claimed it was remapped to run 300bhp, on uk fuel.. they said it was used on their rally car.
Not wishing to disbelieve, i fitted it, before i paid for it, run it up the roiad, and sure enough it hit 1.4 bar, holding at 1.1.
Ive never taken the cover off ...but it would certainly appear to have undergone some remapping, cos ive never known a std ecu to hit them figures....on a cold day it hit 1.5 easy.

TBH, I doubt it would have done 1.4 bar straight out of the factory, hence IMO its probably been remapped already.
