Easily done mate, ran a pair on my Ra..

I used a jubille clip to mount it to the std placed pump, ie.together. Y peice running from each pump to the normal outlet pipe.
I joined the two earths together and the two lives.

Dont parallel the wires, they cant supply enough current and the voltage drops off when they are running hard, after wiring my new one with a new feed we had to completely change the fuel map, Cut the existing earth going to to the plug on the loom side and solder a new wire to this, use this as a new 12v feed from a relay, trigger the relay using the existing pump feed (still use this to feed first pump) then on the inside cut the gnd coming from the connector and use this as the +12v feed for the new pump. add crimp lugs to each of the negative wires from the two pumps and bolt these to the chassis with a good clean **TIGHT** connection.

You need two outlets on the lid ideally IMHO, either have these tig welded on or brazed on. You then need to run a new ground from the chassis to the lid.. this needs to also be a good connection as you dont want sparks from loose connections.

I welded a bolt to each side of my lid so I could bolt the ground directly to it.

Ive got some pics if you get stuck, dont know which computer they are on though!!

Why would you need twin pumps?

Surely you can only supply a certain amount of fuel down the line. And I don't believe that 2 fuel pumps = any more pressure than 1???

How much fuel do you think you need. What BHP.
I take the view that two pumps is twice as many things to go wrong and it must be more powerful than anything I have experience of to need two pumps.

Well i was advised, the two pumps. And it seems a few people here have used this option? I see what you are saying, with regards to its more to fail....The presure required i do not no, as i am not building or mapping the engine. I Just doing the little bits i can in the meantime..

The Block is rated at over 500wp ....As for will i get any where near this, hmm i think not

You do not need two pumps for 500bhp or 600bhp for that matter.

Wink

Infact, thinking about it again the reason was the cost. The single pump at the time worked out a bit more. And i was spending alot so didnt have much to spare......

I was told about both options, it was not the case that this was the only way to go.. it was what i could afford at the time ..

Once you need more than a Walbro will deliver, rated at 255lph, I would go for a Bosch in tank pump. However I think a single Walbro will handle 600bhp. It certainly had no problems handling 500 bhp for me.
