Default air con re-gassing on JDM car

Hi,
I'm thinking of re-gasing the air con myself but not sure where to get parts from ???

any places to buy parts ??

is it worth me attempting it ???

been as you dont know where to get the parts from and there for dont have the special tools required then the answer is DONT DO IT

the gas is 148a ,you can buy this at the local appiance repiar about 18 quid plenty to do 20 regas you can also use 59a witch is a drop in gas now you need a value to put the gas in car needs to run so the compressor is running .swowly let gas in check temp after 5mins a little bit of gas at a time ,if the evap pipe [return] starts to ice up ,to much gas in slowly let some out until pipe frosts back

I thought it was R134a gas.

Yes Easy Rider you are right gas is R134A.
If you are just adding gas to a system because it has lost gas , you need to ensure system is not leaking because if it is, you are breaking the law and could face a hefty fine and imprisonment(EPA act 1990)
