Default Which Brake Fluid

Hi

can anyone recommend a good brake fluid for a Classic Impreza with 2 pot calipers but EBC turbogroove discs and redstuff pads. I do a fair amount of track days so doesn't have to be the cheapest.

Cheers

Ash

Do you mean make or type?

I had 4 pots on my old clio and used Wilwood 5.1 fluid, but the ****** needed bleeding quite often and the pedal turbed into a spongy bugger if they didnt get done often! dot 4 was the best choice i think!

Iv currently got 5.1 in the scooby with 4 pots, and it seems fine. Will most probably change to dot4 when they get bled tho!

good luck mate

Currently using AP Racings 5.1 fluid which I got from Demon Tweaks - 2.5 litres was about £28.

I've used Automec sythetic in the past and thought it was very good if a bit expensive. (supposedly exceeds 5.1 and dosen't need to be changed being synth, you get a lable to put on fluid resevoir..!).

Anyone else got any experience with this as I'm thinking of using it in my scoob..?
