Unhappy Help She just won't start

HI all

I have a MY95 UK Turbo Wagon.
I washed and polished my pride and joy by hand yesterday and when finished moved her back to her usual position on the drive.

But when i came out this morning she would just not start. She would just turn over but not a sausage to be had in firing. I disconnected the battery all day whilst at work and when i got back reconnected it but alas still the same. I can hear the fuel pump prime and all seems fine under the bonnet but she just won't have it. Seems strange after she started no probs last night to move her back on the drive.

Any help greatly appreciated

Pete

Check the contacts on the crank position sensor.
If it's not connected properly, the ecu won't fire the coilpacks.

Hi Dan

Thanks for the reply.
Where abouts would i find the crank position sensor ? Is it fairly obvious.

Hi Dan

Many Thanks

Disconnected the sensor and reconnected. Started first time.

ScoobyNet does it again.

Cheers

I take it you found it then
Right above the front crank pulley on top of the block.

Glad you fixed it

Dan.
