Default will 1997 uk clocks fit 1994 wrx import

Clocks advertised here:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MEWA:IT

They look identicle to mine. Main issue will be the speed signal as my car has the cable from the gearbox but there must be a way to adapt it?? Is there?

Maybe a bit off topic here, but wouldnt the mileage be totally different in the new Unit? I always thought that it was illegal to change clocks. Maybe I am wrong,

about it fitting, I think from all 94 to 99 models are the same, so it should fit, dunno!! I have never done one of them
