hi there, right i've got the oil pump and the gasket done so think i've cured the smoking problem.
anyway now its onto the serious stuff.. as mentioned before the car just doesnt seem to pull off like it should so was hoping i could find a specialist in this area to.
1 clean the boost solenoid and connecting pipes.
2 check the under dash wire thing to do the diagnostic test for maff and lamba probs.
3 drive it to see if its right.
4 offer me a price for scrap parts!

well maybe not 4 ... anyway anybody know any good scoobies mechs in lincs area.. or anybody willing to meet me to have a look for me and try it??
i am closer to gainsborough than anywhere else.

Nearest "specialists" to you are TSL in Kegworth, south of Nottingham, or Scoobyclinic in Chesterfield.

Neither are "near" in the accepted sense of the word, but BOTH are far better than entrusting your car to someone like the Tractor Boys at Lincoln
