I don't see why not Darren. I know from experience it's a pest putting a MY99/00 TMIC on a MY97/98 car but can't the issue being the same reversed. i.e. there should be plenty of space for the OE MY98 D/V port on a MY00. The D/V return line may not land in the same place but that's nothing a few Samcos or similar wouldn't sort.

seems alot of bother
i purchased the hyperflow from a well known company who may read this . . it was advertised as 97-00 , , but 97 is different from 00 cuz of the dv mounting . . .
i waited 5-6 weeks for this as it is and would like it all fitted before my next re-map , , i know some folks say an intercooler wont affect the mapping but id still rather it was on than off..... maybe ill wait for the correct 1.
cheers all

Darren, are you sure the TMIC you have is specifically for MY97/98?
IIRC MRT advertise their TMIC for MY97-00 and state the use of a flange adaptor is required if it is to be fitted to MY97/98. I had to use one of these to get my STi V6 TMIC to fit my MY98.

carl . . . my00 fits the dv straight on to it but this 1 has a 90 degree bend coming out, which iirc is the same as 97-98 . .
but,all seems to have been settled now, hopefully.
the company ordered 2 from australia and when they arrived they sent mine to the other 1 and vice versa lol . . . so we both got each others , , ,they've been helpfull and are collecting them both tomorrow and re-delivering the correct 1's friday .
fingers crossed , or i'll have me money back and get a fm
