HELP: Denso 550 leaking
Just fitted the 550 denso injectors. With adaptors. ONE is leaking.
Is there supposed to be an O ring at nr. 1
And - where does nr. 2 fit ?
The big O ring is from the old OE injectors. Dosn't fit anywhere.
It only seem like one is leaking... ?

There is a O ring just below nr 1 - but the adaptor has a slight - don't know what it is called in English - there is a slight difference in the size of the top from the middle... ? (know what I mean?)

There shouldn't be an o-ring at #1. The one that is already there is sufficient. Those collars are chamfered like mine are to allow them to be fitted to the injector without damaging the o-ring. I can't quite make out what you have circled in #2.
David, Jesper has Phase 2 fuel rails which require a different adaptor kit.
If you have vernier calipers measure the ID of the collar.

the white plastic clip fits above the oring on the nozzle end and is used to push the o-ring fully down into the rail. I did this to prevent the black plastic part from being squashed into the rail. It's just a small slither of nylon airline pipe.
I also replied on 22b, but you should look out for leaks from the body of the injector, where the plastic is moulded aroung the metal body od the injector. I have had a number of examples of this, especially on injectors that have been abused to remove them from the rails.
Also make sure you grease the o-rings (not sure if I did yours Jesper, I usualy do before sending them out) as this will prevent them from twisting round as you fit them in the rail.

They are greased nicely
So all orings are there, meaning that the injector is damaged... Nice- especially when people you buy them from says they are tested and cleaned... really nice...

Same thing is happening to my injector....All three are fine but one looks like it has a really minor leak from the plastic moulding. "Jbagh" would you like to buy 4 injectors off me??? Or would you like to sell yours to me?? Thanks
