Default MAF ID help required - urgent, need to put the car back together!

Hi peeps, just changing my MAF at the mo (my99 turbo)

my new maf is subtly different to the old one, is this right?

the new on is on the left, the old on the right. The old one has these two metal prongs, the new one does not. on the connector interface, the old on has 5 pins where as the new one only has 4!

have i been given the wrong MAF sensor or will it be fine?

James

Having just swapped one over this weekend, my new one and old one looked like the one on the left except the green dot was on the sensor body on the old one and on the flange on the new one. Does this mean mine has already been replaced once

Car runs a lot smoother now. Hope it wasn't deting on the old one
