Question Over-boosting ???

Hello,
I am getting a overboost type cut out from my car but it is doing it around
0.6 - 0.7 bar. I did have a MBC and thaught this was causing the problem and turned it down and no joy. I have connected the STD one back and it is still doing it. The boost seems to be all over the place with either the MBC or the Std one.If the car is cold it holds boost no problem. I have checked pipes, plugs, coils maf and all are o.k, How can i check my actuator to see if it i working correctly ? Is there anything else I should be checking ?
What else would cause this type of cut out ? The revs just hit 0 for a few seconds and the car is running again but really slow and dose not `Kick You back` when on boost and just makes a lot of noise.

My car is a 93wrx

Thanks

If you are in Newcastle.
I can recommend R&P Woods in Heaton. They just set up my mates WRX with similar rough running probs.

Thanks

I think 30 quid an hour. He gets a lot of Problem cars to fix. He is very good and I keep persuading him to get a 4wd Rolling road as he only has a 2wd one at the mo. Im sure there would be a lot of work for him remapping Sccobys and Mitsubishis in the North East.

Mention my name if you like.
