Hi guys,
Planning on getting a bigger turbo for my MY02 STI, and the TD05/06-20G from Andy F comes up in every conversation.
Anyone care to comment on what it is like on your Newage ?
What other mods do you have ?
what bhp/lbs do you now have ?
My target with TMIC (using an APS one) is to hit 380/390 bhp/lbs....
Many thanks...
Mark.

Stock engine and internals. AG821-2593 ECU, TD05/06-20G, 3" helix DP 2.5" exhaust line, PS header with up pipe, Perrin air inlet, stock air box with ITG filter, resonnator removed, FPR set to 3.5 bar, Walbro FP. Custom ARF controller sets between 10.5:1 and 11:1 (read on WBO2), custom boost controller set to 1.65 bar between 3400 and 5000 RPM, then 1.5bar @ 6000RPM and 1.3 bar up to the red line.
A can't say this is reliable and I know it. But it's now 8Mmiles I'm driving with this set-up and 400 miles made on big race tracks with gears pushed up to 7500/7800RPM. No problems seen yet.
I think I'll lower down boost for summer use.
Dyno here (red and green) compared to GP stage 5 with SR40 and FMIC (purple) (scaling is not 100% accurate as max torque should be 540Nm) :

Andy,
Sometimes, graphs can be like "opinion polls", lots of unreliable information
If Xavier's car is making circa 360bhp @ 4500rpm, that's a very impressive 420ftlbs, at 1.65bar.

Does someone else now run with your original 20G Xavier ?
four other Sti7/8 have just been fitted with Andy's 05/06 here and all make 400ftlbs/420/440 bhp.
