Was wondering if anyone could help?
I have Subaru impreza wrx wagon classic shape
Just had the auto box reconditioned and as i was driving home the engine warning light came on and when ever the revs hit 4000 revs its was as if it was red-lining, chugging out black smoke, but anything before that it runs smooth as anything

any ideas

 

Its gone into Limp Home mode matey

You'll need to check the ECU for a fault code
