When i turn my rear heated window on i seam to loose all signal from my radio arial.

Is this a common problem and is there a cure??

sorry, couldn't resist. Not familliar with this one, but I would check that someone hasn't rewired your rear window at some point so that it draws current from the amplified aerial.

Depending on model year consider fitting an A-pillar mounted aerial.

My gut reaction would be to check the power feed to both the aerial and the rear window and run a separate relay fed one if possible.

Its a MY99 Classic and already has a A-pillar mounted aerial.

Am gonna re-wire my heated windscreen at weekend i just wondered if anyone has had this problem.

It must be feeding back somewhere.

My guess is that the heated rear windscreen is taking its power from the same loom as the power for my head unit.

So the cure is gonna be re-wire headunit or re-wire rear windscreen.

Just have to see which one seems easiest.
