STI ver3 Type R ECU
I have been offered the above for what appears to be silly money, I know the guy and the car it came out of, he assures me it will plug straight into my MY00 UK car and give me more than a little extra 'grunt'.
Just wanted to check with those in the know if they think this is a good idea or if I am asking for trouble.
As I said I run an MY00, K&N flat panel filter, full decat.

Simple answer it wont fit...
If you want a bit more 'oomph' for not a lot of cash then look out in the For Sale section for an AE801 ECU to replace the AE802 that you have.

Eh ?
It's a 4 plug, mines a 4 plug, in what way will it not fit bro ?
As for 801.........Trying to stay away from those beasties, they tend to run the car 'lean' and although I am the proud owner of a shiny new lump and and AFR meter and a knick lonck I would hate to have to rely on them too heavily.
