Default Noise from Engine

Maybe my paranoia....but what is this? There seems ot be a tapping sound coming from it...or very near it

(BTW, I'm a complete idiot when it comes to mechanical stuff - so don't take the pi$$ lol)

Looks like the boost solenoid to me, and yes they do make a clicking sound.

No that's not the solenoid... that's to do with the air con. I think it's the filter cannister for the refrigerant... don't know whether it shoudl be clicking. the solenoid is nothing like this and it's on the left not the right side of the engine..

its the reciever drier for the air con and no it dosnt make a noise

As said above, air con stuff and i've never heard mine click before.
