VF28 Vs TD04 Boost control duty
Can anybody let me know either here, via PM or to scott.555@tiscali.co.uk what the difference in duty cycle are likley to be between a VF28 and TD04 boosting to 1.2bar (held on the VF28 and tailing off to 1bar on the TD04).
How similar are they w.r.t boost control as I am trying to establish if a good TD04 duty map can be tweaked by mechanical means to run a VF28 i.e actuator adjustment/restrictor sizing......
I'm already running 1.3bar peak, 1.2bar held...then tailing off to 1bar on a TD04 using ECUTEK, restrictor re-sizing and actuator twiddling.
Don't worry though...YES I am running a KL and AFR.

You'd be better using an AE802 with a fuel cut defender/MBC and a load of octane booster. With an exhaust including manifold, good induction, new age STi TMIC and a fuel pump I think you would get to about +100 BHP on standard.
