Question 2004 wrx

Am thinking of buying a wrx but would like slightly more power. Something in the region of 30 more bhp. What could i do to achieve this. Don`t want to go down the ppp route. I would like something that is switchable so as not to invalidate any warranty. Is ecutek switchable? Would I have to upgrade the exhaust? Cheers guys. Any help much appreciated.

WHy no ppp, if I may ask? That won't spoil the warranty. Or is 'switchable' due to insurance?

Basically yes. Am finding it quite difficult to get insurance for a ppp`d car. So I thought about the switch if it is possible.
