Cold Running Problems.
Can anyone give me an idea as to what the following problem is and how it might be cured.
1993 WRX- HKS Ind kit, HKS exhaust, Greddy blow off valve.
When the engine is cold it hesitates and judders like hell, when i try to pull off i get a nasty metallic type pop in the bowels of the engine somewhere and then the revs pick right up and the car moves off...it appears to be worse when the weather is wet/damp...Anybody got any ideas??

Sounds to me like Coil Packs may be the problem - this would make sense with it happening when its wet
May be worth removing them and inspecting the ends of the coil packs aswell as the rubber boots
