Take of the feed pipe, make sure you use a paint pen or similar to mark the correct orientation of the valve, then remove the valve itself then liberally spray the internals with carburettor cleaner or a similar solvent. Then wipe with a dry cloth, leave it to completely evaporate for a few mins and refit!

Its worth doing your throttle body aswell seeing your gonna be in there with teh solvents....just whip the intercooler box off, spray the cleaner down the neck of the throttle onto the butterfly and then wipe over, you'll be suprised the amount of crap comes off on the cloth!

Is this the ISCV next to the throttle body that you're talking about? If it is I'm wondering about orientation because I'll be removing mine to fit another manifold shortly

Not sure about all of the turbo engines but if they are the same as mine the valve sits in its recess and is clamped down by two small brakets. These brakets have elongated slots in so that you can loosen the bolts and rotate the valve (i assume this is to adjust idle)

Just make sure you mark up the valve before you remove it, that way you wont get any idling probs when you refit
