Fuel Gauge level, When is it tooooo low
Ok, I have read the warning somewhere about not allowing the fuel level to get low after which there is a danger of starvation when going around corners-I can't find it. When is the tank level too low as I use the car for sprinting/hillclimbing and only need as much as in necessary. I have emptied the tank via the fuel filter and poured 10Ltrs in, the needle has risen to the 4th dot on the gauge.
How many Ltrs is needed to keep the danger of starvation at bay.
Thanks

I used to see this at anything under 1/4 tank depending on the severity of the right hander in question and the speed of turn in.
on the A3 at Petersfield roundabout, going at it at anything over 40mph and I would expect cut with <1/4 tank.
