P1 or STi Center section
I have a MY99 RB5. Think i have found a Prodive back box, but want a centre section aswell.
I understand that the PPP came with an STi (Classic), resonated centre section. Is this the same as that on a P1?
How much, or where could i get one?

Just get a Magnex resonated centre. They pop up for sale every now and then.
P1 has no centre cat. Put a wanted ad up, im sure there are quite a few around.
Do the downpipe, that's where the money is

There must be loads about. The centre section you speak of is OE on every import classic (be it WRX or STI), and the P1.

RB5DOCC, to ditch the middle cat, get a Subaru or Magnex resonated centre - about £120 new. Difference might be that people have the Magnex in stock.
If you want an alternative solution though, I'd consider getting an open neck catless downpipe and retaining the cat in the middle section. If you want more after that, ditch the middle cat too and/or replace with a centre sports cat. H&S do one.
