Default Drop in fuel pressure, Heavy misfiring!!

Hi guys,
sorted out the problem with the leak i mentioned in an earlier thread, it was the water pump after all, took the car for testing and although i had noticed earlier on in the week, the car is misfiring badly and the fuel pressure just wont go over 3.0bar, it used to idle at 2.8 and now is idling at 2.4 and when hitting boost it drops to 2.0 followed by constant heavy jerking!!
Whats wrong with my car!! i changed the fuel filter, din't make any difference, checked the timing belt, it's perfect!! what could it be guys help please!!!!!

I'd guess that the fuel pump has a problem or the fpr is busted. Could be just the wiring to the pump that's corroded, so it's worth checking that first.J.

Hi mate,
thanks for the advice, had the problem sorted this morning, it was just a messed up fuel pump, replaced it with a fuel pump from another scooby and pressure seems to be perfect, no jerking.

thanks,

suhail
